Darkness Falls Under .:Chapter 1:. I was awoken in black. Darkness filled most of the room, so much, that you can’t see through the thick, inky blackness. A single candle helped ward away the darkness, but it didn't change the unfocused blurry sight and the place I was in. As I glanced around the room, sitting on the bed that was just a cover and a sheet of towel over a hospital-looking bed. There were others with me; a male teen about my age, an elderly woman and a young girl. They were all asleep, well, I was,and still, an early bird. I slowly rose up to my feet, and slid on my sandals.I wandered in the small room and tried to scrutinize on how I got here. My mind was all fuzzy and couldn’t think clearly as if I was knocked out. Yes.. I was knocked out. I was on a nice summer stroll in the countryside and I was bashed on the head with something hard and cold.. maybe some metal rod?
